Winemaker's Notes: 'Those of you familiar with our wines know that one of our previous Cabernet releases (2001) was the beginning of a brave new world for us as we extended our barrel aging program to further soften and round out our full mountain fruit. We continue that tradition with our 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2003 vintage required much patience, but was well worth the wait.'

'A very approachable Spring Mountain cabernet, aromas of black cherry, plum and sweet oak, the palate shows similar black and red fruits with hints of smoke. Finishes smooth with velvety tannin.
